bonjour mon ami! it’s been a long while since my last entry, and many things have happened since. New city, new friends, new dreams, and new hopes. I am done with university classes and now I am on clerkship rotations. That means I am no longer doing the college student thing and I am moving onto a different chapter of my life.
There’s lots to look f o r w a r d to, but it is surprisingly b i t t e r s w e e t . I never would have imagined it, but I really miss the college campus and all it offered. I might call it a homesick feeling; I am homesick for the past. I enjoyed hanging out with you and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So, as things change, please don’t forget me and the times we shared! Which reminds me – I found a new favorite flower. It’s small, cute and reminds me of a little star.
By the way, the name of the flower of the flower is “forget-me-not.”
I know that feeling of being homesick for the past. I lived in California for under a year, but I often have a strong longing for it, and when I’m there, I remember everything I love about it (but, of course, forget everything that irritated me!).
