this is my very first entry! i will write about… snow.
i love snow. i like the way those big flakes fall and melt on my nose and get caught in my eyelashes; i love the way it looks and the way it makes everything so quiet. i especially like the sound of my snowball hitting the back of the person who just socked me with a big one 
the loud humming of dirty truck engines, smelly buses, and so many cars is …hushed.
tonight we are expecting anywhere from 10-16 inches of snow! i have childhood memories of snow days. do you too? as i frantically prepare for my presentations, quiz, and exams tomorrow, at the back of my mind is this hope that i can put them off for just one more day.
